Featured Business: Lulabelle Floristry & Styling

After years working in the graphic and fashion design industries in London and Milan, Graphic Designer Betty Stuart, founder of Lulabelle Floristry & Styling was determined to start her own creative business upon her return to Ireland. Betty first started selling vintage tea cup candles at the Ha’penny market just over 5 years ago, just down the road from her late Father’s gentleman’s tailors and outfitters on Liffey street.

While selling each candle Betty also handed out her business card and mentioned to her customers that she also provided wedding styling services and it’s here where she met her first wedding styling client.

This is the moment that Lulabelle began to bloom.

Lulabelle started by offering rentals and event styling to weddings and events countrywide all based out of her office on Dun Laoghaire’s George’s Street.  Over the past five years the business has been grown and honed with a focus on providing beautiful wedding and event floristry and Styling.   As it turns out Betty has quite the knack for floristry and Lulabelle have now launched their own online business selling beautiful bouquets for delivery from their brand new e-commerce store, which only launched last week and is completely run out of their base here in Dun Laoghaire.

When asked about her number one priority for her customers, Betty answered ‘Fantastic, honest and transparent customer service.’ And it’s easy to see that she means it.

And why Dun Laoghaire? As it turns out Betty is third generation from the town, so after living in London and Milan, setting up anywhere else was never an option for her.
