LIFT Ireland (Leading Ireland’s Future Together) and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council have committed to train 100 business people and HR managers across Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown across a series of five events to develop their personal leadership abilities and effectiveness.
The events will take place from September until the end of the year. The goal of Lift is to have over 10% of the country’s population “Living LIFT” by 2028, and that over half a million Irish people will have experienced LIFT’s leadership groups and adopted personal leadership attributes in their everyday lives.
Owen Laverty, Head of Enterprise and Economics for Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council said of the partnership;
“We are firmly committed to supporting the development of businesses in DLR, and the LIFT initiative has proven to be immensely beneficial to those who get involved, as it helps to build relationships and ensure strong, positive pathways for development and growth. We want to support the development of positive scalable cultures in our business community and we see the LIFT initiative as a very important part of this”
