| Christmas Lights The Christmas lights switch-on is scheduled for Saturday 28th November. The Christmas lights have been upgraded annually as some fixtures are beyond repair and have been replace with festoon lighting. The DLBA welcomes the financial support of the Local Authority as there are substantial annual costs in repair, erection, removal and storage of our Christmas lights, as Dún Laoghaire is almost a mile long. Christmas lights are vital in making Dún Laoghaire an attractive place to visit for our customers, as well as our residents and staff. Application has been made for funding towards a major replacement of old fixtures and an extension of the festoon lighting for 2021. |
