BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT – Dún Laoghaire Therapy Centre

The Dun Laoghaire Therapy Centre (DLTC) is a community service that offers a wide range of therapies across the age span from childhood to adulthood. It was set up in early 2023 by a local therapist as a direct response to a shortage of therapists in the local area and extensive waiting lists for services. Having had great success with their sister centre (Artonomy, also in Dun Laoghaire and established in 2018), they wanted to expand their services to meet the growing needs of our community.

At DLTC, you can find various therapies such as psychotherapy, psychology, art psychotherapy, play therapy, hypnotherapy, occupational therapy and more. THeir growing team of 21 therapists, each specialising in different approaches, provides expert care for many challenges such as anxiety, trauma, and depression for individuals, couples, and families.

They acknowledge the financial challenges associated with accessing therapy and their full cost services. Therefore, they also  provide low cost options specifically for teens and adults.

At DLTC, they believe that every individual in the community is unique and deserves the best support. That’s why they e are committed to providing an inclusive and affirming environment for all.
