Dún Laoghaire Town is bustling with festive events this Christmas, including the inaugural Santa Parade which successfully took place on November 25th. On December 10th, the free-entry Irish Popup Collective event at The Royal Marine Hotel will showcase Irish products, perfect for holiday shopping. Meanwhile, Walters is gearing up for a joyous evening with The New Cafe Orchestra on December 9th. In other news increased connectivity has come to south Dublin with the introduction of new bus routes, including the S8 and L25 lanes. A warm welcome is extended to the 73 Mexican Grill & Taqueria, a new addition to Dun Laoghaire’s culinary scene on Upper George’s Street. Looking ahead to 2024, the town’s Royal Irish Yacht Club is preparing to host major sailing championships. An Cathaoirleach Denis O’Callaghan highlights his productive term with a focus on community, housing, and climate initiatives. Finally, the January Digital Dun Laoghaire Meetup invites attendees to start the new year with an evening meetup with an expert panel on resilience and adaptation in times of change in the Eblana Club.

Dún Laoghaire Town Christmas Festival Has Started

Dún Laoghaire town is delighted to welcome everyone to our town this Christmas season with so many great events and attractions planned and delivered by the various local stakeholders and associations. Come, bring your friends and family, and have fun!

Santa Parade in Dún Laoghaire a Huge Success

Dun Laoghaire witnessed a magical Santa parade on 25th November. Over 49,000 online viewers joined our local community who followed his trail from the DLR County Hall, Myrtle Square, to People’s Park and the Maritime Museum where he resides now providing the Santa Experience!

Irish Popup Collective Event to Support Irish Products

Kate Fine of Kate’s Sample Sale and Debbie Millington Designs are holding their event in The Royal Marine Hotel on 10th December 2023 from 10-7pm. The third IPUC will feature some of the best Irish fashion, interiors, craft, beauty and gifts making it the perfect place to shop all things Christmas. The event is FREE entry.

Walters is kicking off Christmas in Walters with The New Cafe Orchestra performance on 9th December at 8pm. The stage is set for a fabulous night in Walters with these fantastic musicians.
