Featured Business: The Lighthouse
The Lighthouse General Manager Enda McMahon thinks Dún Laoghaire, “with the pier and the seaside seems to be a nice place to read a good book.” His bar, with a wide selection of craft beers, premium spirits, and hearty pub food, seems just as nice a place.
Opened in November, the Lighthouse has taken over the space left by Whiskey Fair. The pub boasts a comfortable space to watch live sports with a pint and a bite from their extensive lunch menu. Options like the Ultimate Ham & Cheese toastie, chicken wings, and fish and chips ensure customers leave full and happy. Additionally, the Lighthouse offers a Saturday brunch and Sunday roast.
McMahon is particularly proud of the Lighthouse spirits selection. “We keep the standards very high,” he says. The Lighthouse offers a wide range of premium gins, vodkas, and craft beers alongside a collection of Irish spirits.
The Lighthouse team is no stranger to the Dún Laoghaire pub scene. Sister bar Gilbert & Wright is located just down the street.
For any day tourists, locals, or out-of-towners searching for a good lunch or something to sip on, McMahon knows just the place. “We are the pub they’ve been looking for.”
The Lighthouse is open seven days a week, Monday through Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with food served each day from noon.
