March will see a series of engaging events and initiatives celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day and beyond. The official Parade route has now been released. As a precursor to the parade, DunLaoghaireTown.ie and DLBA are running a ‘Spot the Leprechaun’ Competition, inviting participants to find miniature leprechauns in local shop window displays for a chance to win a free flag to wave at the parade. If your business would like to participate please contact me at the email address below. Meanwhile, Bloomfields Shopping Centre is set to host St. Patrick’s festivities featuring music, face painting, and dance performances.
DLR CoCo are currently calling for wall suggestions for the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Anseo Street Art programme 2024, they are also offering support for businesses through the Ratepayers Support Grant. DLR LEO is offering AI tools training for businesses, while the DLR Chamber & Women In Business Alliance (WIBA) are celebrating International Women’s Day with a special luncheon. With spring now upon us local operator Dublin Bay Cruises are resuming their scenic tours. On the networking front, Digital Dún Laoghaire is organising a meetup to discuss the topic “Is data ‘eating the world’ or helping businesses to thrive?”.
