RNLI is looking for volunteers

The RNLI is looking for new fundraising volunteers to join their team in Dun Laoghaire. Volunteers are at the heart of the RNLI and make up 95% of its people. They are ordinary people who do extraordinary things and without them, the organisation couldn’t continue to save lives at sea.

Tidy Towns – AGM and Table Quiz

Dun Laoghaire Tidy Town’s AGM will be held on the 29th March at 7:45 pm in the Eblana Lodge, 3 Eblana Avenue. All are most welcome, and a short AGM will be followed by an Open Night where they hope to have some local businesses, local politicians and senior council officials present.

Tidy towns will also be providing free refreshments (wine, tea/coffee and soft drinks). Tidy towns will of course be looking for new people to join their committee and particularly people with social media skills. Even if you have not been able to continue as a regular volunteer, they would love to see you.

Tidy town’s annual fundraising table quiz in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Dún Laoghaire will be held in the Royal Marine Hotel on Wednesday 12th April at 7:30 pm. The table quiz is great fun and there are many fabulous prizes to be won in the super raffle that will also take place. Bring cash for the raffle as the Tidy town team has limited card facilities.
