Car Parking in Dún Laoghaire Town

In Dún Laoghaire there are approximately 3,230 car parking spaces in total of which approximately 570 are on street parking spaces. Parking on street will cost you €1.70 for 60 minutes (for convenience this can be paid for via the www.parkingtag.ie app) plus the 15 minutes grace period however, there is a maximum of 3 hours. There are some places where you can park all day very cost effectively, daily rates vary between €4 and €12.

In 2024 Interns helped compare Dun Laoghaire’s parking options with Bray, Dundrum and Henry Street. The method used was to use the data in Parkopedia , entered the destination in the search and count all available spaces within a ‘15 minute walk’ cut off point.
